What do you see?

When I look out at the world, I see layers. I see the scenery of trees or office lights. I see people of different shapes, colors and sizes. Some beautiful. Some athletic. Others awkward, heavy, or worn from life. But I try to see without judgement. I try to see them for why they are. The wobbling walk, perhaps due to a physical ailment, is merely a characteristic and not a reason to separate him/her from society.

Yet, when I look out on the world, I see myself separate from it. I am not a participant, only an observer. Because, it is only when I am part of the world, that I forget to see myself in it.
